Preston hosted the annual Webster County Olde Tyme Country Fair on the courthouse lawn last Saturday, October 27. It was said to be the biggest turnout in years with people from all over the region coming out to watch the parade and participate in the event.
The parade kicked off the day in fine fashion at 10 a.m. Antique and classic cars and trucks were the highlight of the parade. The Ft. Benning Maneuver Center of Excellence Army Band and Color Guard followed the Webster Co. Sheriff’s cruiser onto the square.
