Stewart County High School gets rid of unwanted label

The Stewart County School System is proud to announce that Stewart County High School (SCHS) is no longer designated as a Priority School by the Georgia Department of Education.
Due to low graduation percentages and math achievement at the high school until the 2008-2009 school year, SCHS began three years of school improvement under the guidance of the Georgia Department of Education and received a School Improvement Grant (SIG). Because the high school received the grant, it was designated as a Priority School at the beginning of this school year.
