The Georgia Department of Education recently released the latest scores in the "statewide accountability" system that was implemented in 2012. It is called the College and Career Readiness Performance Index (CCRPI).
According to the Department of Education, these scores are calculated with appropriate indicators and show an in-depth analysis of students' college and career readiness. It measures the extent to which a school, school district, and the state are successfully making progress in a number of key areas, such as content mastery, student attendance, and the next level of preparation.
According to the latest CCRPI Report, which uses data from 2013, below are how area schools scored.
Schley County High School has the highest CCRPI score in the Chattahoochee-Flint RESA District, which includes 13 high schools. Schley County's score of 79.6 is also one of only three scores in the district that are above the state average of 71.8.
Schley County Middle School has the second highest score of the 15 middle schools in the district. That score of 85.4 was also above the state average of 74.6.
