Chatt. Co. BOE gets a lot of good news

The Chattahoochee County Board of Education got a lot of good news during its recent meetings, from an opportunity for a big grant to help upgrade technology at the elementary school to compliments from an accreditation team to the recognition of their own high school academic state championship team.
The School Board voted to apply for a federal E-Rate Grant that would pay 90 percent of the cost of upgrading wiring for the internet at the elementary school. The total project would cost $196,872, but the local funding would be only 10 percent ($17,897).
