Foul play possible in case of mising man with local ties

Area law enforcement officials and the family of a man with close ties to Marion County are reaching out to the community in hopes of getting some leads on a missing person case that has spawned rumors of foul play. Raymond Paul Akins, 32, is the missing person.
Assistant Special Agent in Charge Trebor Randle of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said they have already done extensive searches in Marion County in partnership with the Marion County Sheriffs Office, the Department of Natural Resources, and the Columbus Police Department.
All indications point to it most likely being a case where something happened to him, either an accident or foul play,
