A Marion County man and an Americus woman were arrested last weekend for possessing and allegedly dealing illegal drugs, including powerful and highly addictive crystal methamphetamine, also commonly called “meth” or “ice.”
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from a local resident that a man was delivering meth, so stepped up patrols in the area in question. Around
12:05 a.m. on Friday, January 17, Sheriff’s Deputy David Streetman observed a white S10 pickup with a “Keep the Ten Commandments” bumper sticker weaving while travelling toward Mauk on Highway 127.
