The Club de L’Epagneul Breton of the United States (CEB-US) and its local affiliate club known as the Epagneul Breton Gun Dog Club of Georgia are hosting field trials, shows and other meetings in Richland and Stewart Co.
The United Kennel Club, Inc., which is the registry for the Epagneul Breton in the United States, licenses the field trials and shows. The group promotes the French Brittany Spaniel, which is the smallest breed of pointing dog in the world, in the U.S.
The local Georgia Club is hosting field trials on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 18-19, at Ole Pataula Farms and Gin Pond Plantation, which are located in Stewart County on Trotman Road.
These events are being hosted at the farms of local residents Fred Overby and the Barge Family (brothers John, Joe and Branch, Jr.).
