The Marion County High School varsity girls basketball team is focusing on attitude as well as skills in the 2012-2013 season. The approach appears to be paying dividends.
The Lady Eagles are playing as a team with much desire and have won their last two games in blowout fashion to improve to 6-4 so far.
Our goal is to foster an understanding that success is measured in the heart and to fashion the heart of a winner, said MCHS Head Coach Dwanna Carter.
As the season heats up, Carter says the team simply needs to continue to work and mature through experience.
The maturity has already begun, as she reports that the posts are primed and ready.
