The Commission of the Unified Government of Chattahoochee County “swore in” newly elected commissioners, reelected officers, and discussed various issues, including road and water projects, in a meeting Tuesday, January 8.
Chattahoochee County Probate Judge James McGlaun administered the oath of office to newly elected Commissioner James Morton, who previously served on the Commission, and Commissioner Jim Lawrence, who was recently reelected.
Lawrence was also reelected as chairman of the Commission by his fellow officials, who also reelected Ronnie Burgamy as the vice-chairman.
Improvement Projects: The commissioners were informed by County Manager Thomas Weaver that two improvement projects are about to begin.
