The Kirbo Interpretive Center at Florence Marina State Park located at the Chattahoochee River in Stewart Co. has received a $30,000 grant from The Thomas M. Kirbo and Irene B. Kirbo Charitable Trust. The funds are being used to update the building, which houses exhibits showcasing area wildlife, indigenous plants, local history and Native American activity in the area.
