Old school, once set for demolition, is now home to SE Team Sports Academy

Alumni of the former Tri-County High School no longer have to feel bummed about their alma mater being slated for demolition, and the Marion County community can get ready to welcome an ambitious company that plans to invest more than $1 million into the former school, which is now being transformed into a sports academy.
The Marion County Board of Education, after conducting an exhaustive search for a buyer, wound up selling the school to local businessman Cliff Sizemore for $140,000 in November. Sizemore initially planned to scrap out the property, with the school building eventually being demolished.
