Chad Lynch has been going to auctions since he was 10-years-old. Buying and reselling was part of the family business. The Lynches have had a store on the square in Lumpkin since 1989. They sold some hunting supplies and a lot of glassware and collectibles back then.
In 2002 the Lynch family moved the store out to U.S. Highway 27 to take advantage of the traffic on the new four-lane parkway. They expanded the outfitter portion of the business and added a full service convenience store. Lynch’s General Store was born.
