The Marion County High School varsity softball team has an experienced squad and is looking to show improvement while competing for the Region 4A title and capturing a state playoff spot.
Last year the Eagles had a very young team (only one senior and started four sophomores and two freshmen most of the year). As expected, there were some “growing pains” and team finished the year 9-12, but all of that experience should begin to pay off this year.
