The 2012 season is the beginning stage of a “rebuilding period” for the Marion County High School cross country program.
Last year the team finished third in the region and advanced to the State Championship Meet, but due to a number of factors not a single member of last year’s high school team is back. One of the top runners, Deangelo Mathis, graduated, while some of the best male runners are taking a shot at football this year.
