Marion County Sheriff has
many questions about election

Marion County Sheriff Horace Snider has submitted a lengthy request for information to the Board of Elections & Registration. His son, Deputy Kyle Snider, also requested some information and filed a request to contest the results of the recent Primary Election for both Sheriff and Probate Judge in Marion County.

The county turned both requests over to an outside attorney – Andrew Dodgen of Columbus – to avoid any possible conflict of interest concerns since County Attorney Wayne Jernigan has worked for both the County Government and the Sheriff’s Office for many years.
