| The final victory of the Southern Sectional was on Saturday, Oct. 21, when the Lady Cats beat Lanier County by a score of 5-4. State Finals: The Lady Cats will now compete with the other remaining teams (Georgia Military, Gordon Lee, Savannah Country Day, ELCA, Pacelli, Brookstone, and Jefferson) in the State Finals, Thursday, Oct. 26 through Saturday, Oct. 28 at South Commons in Columbus. Schley County will open with a game against Georgia Military on Thursday at 2 p.m. If they win, they will play again at 6 p.m. If they lose the first game, they will drop to the loser’s bracket and play the next game on Friday at 9 a.m., but still be alive in the hunt for the title. |
