Many educators say that the first years of school are of utmost importance, as they lay a foundation for all other learning. With that in mind, the Chattahoochee County School system is celebrating the fact that it is helping its students become “bright” right from the very start.
Chattahoochee County Pre-K was recently recognized as one of only 28 percent of programs statewide to earn a rating of “exceeds” on the Pre-K Program Quality Assessment for the 2005-2006 school year, earning status as a “Bright from the Start” program from the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning.
The Program Quality Assessment is the grading system for all Georgia Pre-K programs. “Exceeds” is the highest score that can be achieved in the grading system.
The Chattahoochee Board of Education extends a “big thank you” to the administration and staff of Chattahoochee County Pre-K who have worked so hard to achieve this recognition and wishes of continued success and achievement in the future as they work together to help prepare Chattahoochee County’s children for school and for life. |
