Chattahoochee County incumbents fall in election |

Gerald Douglas won the Post III seat. He received 57 percent of votes, while incumbent James Morton had 35 percent, and fellow candidate James Roberts Jr. picked up 8 percent. The vote totals by number were: Douglas - 510, Morton - 314, and Roberts - 71. In the race to fill the Post IV position, vacated by Ben Miller who did not seek reelection, former commissioner Walt Rosso defeated James Bowden. Rosso received 500 votes to Bowden’s 405 (55% to 45%). |
