The Chattahoochee County High boys’ team showed that it’s ready to compete for the region title by knocking off region leading Taylor County by a score of 54-51 in Cusseta on Jan. 26. In addition to leading the region, Taylor entered the game as the No. 6 ranked team in the state in Class A.
While the win didn’t propel Chattahoochee into the top 10 rankings, the Panthers were among the “other teams receiving votes” in the latest Georgia |

Teammate Octavius Staton got into a little foul trouble, but still managed to score 13 and pull down 9 rebounds. Other players who scored were: Delandis Harris (6), Tacovi White (4), Dejuan Ross (2), and Antwan Ross (2).
