Spinach Cheese Bundles

* 1 container (6 1/2 ounces) garlic and herb flavored spreadable cheese
* 1/2 cup chopped fresh spinach
* 1 package (17 1/4 ounces) frozen puff pastry, thawed
* sweet and sour or favorite dipping sauce (optional)

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Combine cheese, spinach and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper in a small bowl, mix well.

Roll out one sheet puff pastry dough on floured surface into 12 inch square. Cut into 16 (3 inch) squares.

Place about 1 teaspoon cheese mixture in center of each square. Brush edges of squares with water.

Bring edges together up over filling and twist tightly to seal, fan out corners of puff pastry.

Place bundles 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake about 13 minutes or until golden brown.

Repeat with remaining sheet of puff pastry and cheese mixture.

Serve warm with dipping sauce, if desired.
